This individual will apply prior expertise and experience to identify new system configurations of existing RF and communications equipment, identify performance and capability gaps, and evaluate and prototype potential solutions to fill the capability gaps.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications to support operations.
Test and evaluation of systems to ensure proper performance in operational environment
Perform technical studies of various antennas and their applicability to solve customer problems.
The design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications.
The design, documentation, testing, creation or modification of computer programs related machine operating systems to support prototypes, testing and evaluation.
Position requires strong system engineering perspective to support a customer team in technical coordination, risk assessment, progress tracking, and implementation trades.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills, demonstrated leadership ability.

Qualifications:

Requires BS in technical field of study
Familiarity with RF hardware, communication and collection technologies.
Minimum of 12+ years recent experience in system or development, operations support, or other direct support to operations.
8+ years of recent sensor or communications systems integration and or operations experience
Experience applying SE processes, and detailed implementation planning of complex systems.
Experience supporting cross-functional integrated teams of mission, data, solution architects/engineers transforming operations and supporting collaboration.
Comprehends complex technical and or operational issues; defines problem in ways that clearly communicate to technical & non-technical staff; persuasively propose solution to meet customer mission need.
Demonstrated ability/experience identifying/solving problems reviewing related information to develop/evaluate options and implement solutions with minimal supervision / direction.
Experience with field testing and deployments of systems.
Able to work independently & within team environment.
